Abstract:

This final rule prescribes regulations establishing the aviation industry alcohol misuse prevention program. It includes requirements for an alcohol testing program for air carrier employees who perform safety-sensitive duties, in implementation of the FAA-related provisions of the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991, which was enacted on October 28, 1991.
