• Abstract:
  These amendments substantially revise requirements for operations by persons holding air taxi/commercial operator (ATCO) operating certificates issued by the FAA. They will result in a higher level of safety and greater operational flexibility. They are necessary to keep the FAA's regulation of this vital segment of the industry consistent with the state-of-the-art from both a technological and operating standpoint. These amendments respond to the demand for commuter and air taxi operators to operate larger and more complex aircraft.
