Abstract:

The purpose of this amendment to Part 121 of the Federal Aviation Regulations is to establish procedures for the granting of an extension of the December 1, 1975, compliance date of Â§ 121.360 for installation of a ground proximity warning system on each large turbine-powered airplane used in operations under Part 121 to any operator that can show that an extension is warranted.
