This amendment, being issued as a part of the FAA's Operations Review Program, adopts a new Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) that provides for the use of data for accomplishing major repairs that have been developed by repair stations, air carriers, air taxis, and commercial operators of large aircraft but which have not been specifically approved by the FAA.
