Abstract:Overview of General Lucius D. Clay and his involvement with the Interstate design and implementation during Former President Eisenhower’s Administration. Review of the committee he headed, and the actions taken to ensure that the Interstate Highway was efficient in construction, cost and implementation is described within the context of the 1950’s Eisenhower administration.
