The objectives are: 1) Develop and apply alternative multivariate modeling methodologies for analyzing the spatiotemporal dependence patterns both within different shared ride mode offerings but also across shared ride modes, at high resolution. 2) Demonstrate the methods to analyze the spatiotemporal patterns within and across shared ride modes in greater New York City metropolitan area. In particular, the proposed research will focus 9 on the synergy (or lack thereof) between TNCs and other shared mode offerings including subway, bikeshare, and taxis. 3) Disseminate the approaches that have been developed to benefit planning.
