The Elkhart yard was analyzed using the CAPACITY model. Two types of sensitivity analysis were conducted: First, the effect of slower humping rates was analyzed to simulate the effects of severe weather conditions. Second, the effect on track requirements of a +/-1 hour variation in arrival/departure time was analyzed.
