Abstract:

This report discusses the procedure used to implement a new Flexible Pavement Design System into the Texas Highway Department pavement design operations. A step-by-step account is given of the work undertaken in implementation. This includes developing, trying, and revising the system. At the present stage design personnel from 10 of 26 Districts in the State have been trained in the fundamentals of’ using the system and are now putting the system to use.
