Alternative Title:
National Mall and Memorial Parks (NAMA) Multimodal Strategic Implementation Plan
The NAMA Multimodal Strategic Implementation (MSI) Plan is a document that analyzes the needs of all roadway users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit, and micromobility users, to produce conceptual design options that can be implemented. The study area includes all NPS and District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) roadways within the NAMA area, which is identified in the 2010 National Mall Plan/Environmental Impact Statement, and adjacent to President’s Park. This project includes the review of past, present, and future projects, including the vision of the 2010 National Mall Plan/Environmental Impact Statement and the review of any changes to baseline conditions since 2010. The MSI Plan provides design recommendations at locations that are indicative of many of the safety concerns that are present along corridors within NAMA.
