    The purpose of this report is to compile, in one document, information on the characteristics and the physical condition of the various elements of the public airports in Illinois as well as data on the actual use of both the publicly and privately owned airports in the state. From this web front page, the 111 page report can be viewed on line as a PDF file and printed out or the report can be downloaded (1.6Mb). The major sections of the report include distribution of Illinois airports open for public use, statistical tables of airport activities, listing of carriers within the state, physical characteristics of the airports, and information on automated weather stations.
