Abstract:

This document presents the evaluation framework for the I-81 ITS Model Safety Corridor Program. The objectives of the framework are threefold: 1) serve as input into the development of infrastructure in the I-81 Corridor to generate baseline data for evaluation purposes; 2) guide the evaluation of ITS projects; and 3) assist in the development of performance indicators for the I-81 Corridor. The document also includes a description of the I-81 ITS Program, how the evaluation framework was created, and who has been involved.
