Abstract:

The research objectives included implementing a multidisciplinary program consisting of engineering, education, and enforcement components to improve pedestrian safety at crosswalks and evaluating the effectiveness of the program. The research study consisted of three phases: community assessment, program implementation, and program evaluation.
