Abstract:

This is the Final Report for the FRATIS Dallas-Fort Worth DFW prototype system. The FRATIS prototype in

DFW consisted of the following components: optimization algorithm, terminal wait time, route specific

navigation/traffic/weather, and advanced notice to terminals. The high level architecture is described for each

of the recommended component options. The Final Report summarizes the lessons learned from the

prototype process, presents the analysis of the Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) terminal

queue time data, and discusses the opportunities for similar prototypes going forward.
