Abstract:This study presents a novel, low-cost, all-inorganic lead selenide-titania (PbSe/TiO2) nanowire
heterostructure material synthesis for photovoltaic applications. PbSe nanorods (NRs) have been coelectrospun
within a TiO2 nanotube with high connectivity for highly efficient charge carrier flow and
electron-hole pair separation. This material has been characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy
(TEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), and Photovoltaic testing.
