  This annual report is designed to share program activities and results for Ohio Department of ; Transportation’s research program. In addition to work on the projects shown in the body of ; the report, 2011 accomplishments include: increasing engagement of District Research Liaisons (DRL’s) in the development and ; evaluation of research; presenting the Research Summit, the Ohio Bridge Rideability Research Seminar, and ; the Requests for Proposal development training; producing a new Research, Development & Technology Transfer (RD&T2) Manual of ; Procedures and the 2012 to 2014 Strategic Research Plan; and partnering with Ohio LTAP to provide Continuing Professional Development Credits to ; engineers for participating in our annual project review and research results presentation ; meetings.
