"In this project, a course was developed to introduce transportation and logistics applications of large-scale optimization to graduate students. This report details what

similar courses exist in other universities, and the methodology used to gather literature for course. Details about the learning objectives and structure of the course are

given, as well as lessons learned from the initial offering of this course in Fall 2009. Course feedback and outcomes as well as suggestions for future offerings of the

course are discussed."
