This report documents the test done on noise emission levels found on vehicles in Colorado. It justifies modifications of the STAMINA 2.0 traffic noise prediction model for use in Colorado. Vehicle noise emission measurements were made in accordance with FHWA Report No. DP-45-1R. It was determined that STAMINA 2.0 (with FHWA default emission rates) over predicts the noise levels by approximately 4 dBA and that adjustments to the emission rates in the model should be made.
