A Life Cycle Cost/Cost Benefit Analysis based on a ten year period has been conducted on the Microwave Communications Subsystem of the Enhanced Airport Security System Project at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (EWI). The Life Cycle Cost of the subsystem is estimated at $49,073, as compared The primary benefit of this subsystem is in an increased level of airport with a baseline system cost and personnel safety.
