Abstract:During the past two years the Public Roads Administration of the Federal Works Agency has designed and constructed special instruments and equipment necessary in connection with studies of driver behavior and vehicle performance. These instruments are now being used in research work being carried on by the Public Roads Administration in cooperation with a number of State highway departments, the Quartermaster Corps of the United States Army at Camp Holabird, Baltimore, Maryland, the National Bureau of Standards, Johns Hopkins University and a number of motor truck manufacturers.
