• Abstract:
  The U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS) partnered with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Transportation Research Board (TRB) to host the Eighth Biennial Innovative Science and Technology Conference on June 24-26, 2025. This conference focused on Improving the Security and Safety of the Marine Transportation System (MTS). The action areas identified at this conference will guide CMTS programs and projects over the next two years. All opinions expressed are those of the conference presenters and not those of the CMTS, its individual member agencies, the NASEM, or the TRB.
