Abstract:

The CMTS Supply Chain and Infrastructure Integrated Action Team hosted a supply chain disruption tabletop in October 2024. The purpose of this exercise was for the Great Lakes Marine Transportation System and partners to identify policies, procedures, and regulations governing the resumption of trade following a supply chain disruption and identify strategies to mitigate future disruptions. The exercise allowed participants to better understand the connectivity and interdependencies of surface (road and rail) and maritime transportation systems as they relate to supply chain criticality.
