The Eastern Region, AEA-431, requested that the FAA Technical Center conduct a test flight to collect signal level data from an extended high altitude Very High Frequency (VHF) communications antenna located at Barnegat (Warren Grove}, N.J. antenna site. The proposed reconfiguration of the ATC communications antenna there required a flight check of the signal levels in the New York Oceanic Control Sector.
