This Policy will ensure that Federal Highway Administration staff and individuals that make substantial intellectual contributions to scientific and technical products such as, but not limited to, the American Concrete Institute Journals, American Journal of Physics, American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers are listed as contributors of the work product. Authorship and publication of scientific and technical products are important to the authors of these products, as authorship and publication influence their reputation and it establishes accountability and informs the public of those responsible for the information and conclusions of FHWA work products.
