Abstract:

This report is organized into five sections including this introductory section and four additional sections describing testing, analysis and broader conclusions. These are: - Section 2: Observations of the manufacture and construction of the HGMB - Section 3: Non-destructive live-load testing of the HGMB and analysis of the results - Section 4: Finite element modeling and analysis of the HGMB load tests - Section 5: Conclusions drawn. Relevant calculations, data, and external contractor’s reports are provided in appendices, which are preceded by a short list of references.
