Abstract:This research focuses on the long-term stability and durability of newly developed, resource-efficient non-proprietary ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), advancing material design and development to support field implementation in structural transportation projects across New England. The study drives innovation in durability testing and results analysis, addressing critical gaps in performance assessment to facilitate the use of non-proprietary UHPC in bridge components and connections. This work builds upon the foundational efforts of previous US DOT UTC-TIDC Project 2.5: “Development and Testing of High/Ultra-High Early Strength Concrete for Durable Bridge Components and Connections."
