Abstract:

The major purpose of this project is to conduct both construction and post-construction testing and evaluation of sulfur extended asphalt (SEA) experimental test sections located on MH 153 (Wellborn Road in the cities of College Station and Bryan) in Brazos County, Texas. These test sections were in District 17 of the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation (SDHPT) during the project planning and construction.
