Bismarck Mandan 2000 Travel Demand Model Update Project Title
ATAC worked with the Bismarck-Mandan MPO on updating the regional travel demand model. The work included updating the GIS-based network and calibrating the model using 2000 traffic data. The network link speed and capacity calculations where refined. Bismarck State College and the Bismarck Airport were added as Special Generators in the model. Finally, the model was implemented using the TP+ software (an upgrade from the old Tranplan model).
