Abstract:This report, the final for Project 1908, describes the performance models for jointed concrete pavements (JCPs) this project developed for incorporation in the TxDOT Pavement Management Information System (PMIS). As indicated in the report, these models appear to be reasonable indicators of general trends within the pavement population. In addition, the report explores the possibility of developing performance models based on stiffness loss estimated with deflection basin parameters obtained from falling weight deflectometer (FWD) measurements. We found the radius of curvature to be the most sensitive parameter for slab and base stiffnesses, though not sufficiently sensitive to determine subgrade modulus. Finally, this report presents the overall findings of Project 1908, along with conclusions and recommendations for future research.
