• Abstract:
  The rigid pavement (RP) database contains historical distress data obtained from more than 400 continuously reinforced concrete pavements(CRCP) and jointed concrete pavements (JCP) across the state of Texas. Data collection efforts began in 1974 and have been undertaken periodically up to the present. This report documents a study of the twenty-four-year database, examines the past and current demographics of the data, and identifies the need for improvement in critical areas. A plan is presented for upcoming data collection in 1996.
