This report covers further developments of the ultra-high frequency ratio range, discusses the factors affecting the usefulness of radio ranges from a theoretical standpoint, discusses the effect of reflections from the ground and from a counterpose, shows the effect of height on distance range and continuity of signal, describes the apparatus used, and presents the data obtained at Indianapolis, Ind, and Van Nuys, California during the latter part of 1941.
