Abstract:

Speakers Paul Burley, Kimberley Edwards, Paul Hernandez, and Patricia DeSalvo provide a report and update on the NTKN Cataloging and Metadata Initiative. The group's goal was to solicit information that would help understand the needs of the cataloging community. The presentation covers the creation of the group, initial findings from the survey, and brainstorming projects to strengthen the community and demonstrate the value that librarians bring to the community.
