Objectives • Evaluating the cross-anisotropic stiffness characteristics of Iowa soils and geomaterials through advanced cyclic true triaxial tests. • Evaluating the cross-anisotropic permanent deformation characteristics of Iowa soils and geomaterials through advanced cyclic true triaxial tests. • Determining the effect of freeze-thaw action on stiffness and permanent deformation of geomaterials under field similar stress states through advanced cyclic true triaxial test setup. • Determining the effect of fine content on the freeze-thaw performance of geomaterials.
