This current analysis considers various potential strategies to reduce the transportation cost of West Virginia's timber and wood products. The analysis begins with a statistical summary of timber and wood product commodity flows in Section 2. This is followed by an examination of specific forward-looking strategies in Section 3. Finally, the study findings are summarized in Section 4.
