This edition of Traffic Tech briefly describes two forthcoming NHTSA reports on fatigue among emergency medicals services personnel. The first report, The Emergency Medical Services Sleep Health Study by Patterson et al., describes a major study into EMS fatigue. The second report, Developing a Webtool for Fatigue in Emergency Medical Services Scheduling by Devine et al., describes a webtool specifically designed to improve scheduling to help solve the sleep fatigue problem.
