With the expanding use of unmanned aircraft systems across the transportation, infrastructure, and public safety communities, the need for qualified remote pilots to operate these aircrafts becomes increasingly important. In support of USDOT strategic goals with a focus on “Preserving the existing transportation system” this project aims to provide practical training and accreditation for prospective UAS operators in the transportation engineering field.
