Abstract:

This System Design Document (SDD) describes the scope of the proposed New York City (NYC) Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment (CVPD) system. It is a continuation of the systems engineering work based on the system architecture identified in the System Architecture Document (SAD). Its objective is to identify the subsystems and decompose them further into components. This document defines the system components and their interfaces and traces the requirements to them. Specific details on the individual system interfaces and their ITS standards are listed in the Interface Control Document (ICD).
