Abstract:
This report documents facts on reported 2006 traffic accidents included in the Department database. Sections of the report contain statistics on major categories of traffic accidents. These categories include all reported accidents, reported alcohol involved accidents, reported tractor-trailer involved accidents, reported pedestrian involved accidents and reported motorcycle involved accidents. Tables and graphs are used to highlight various accident attributes. This report is published to inform the reader of current traffic accident statistics and trends. The Department welcomes any comments or suggestions regarding improvement of the content and structure of this report.
