This document, a product of the Transportation Management Center Pooled Fund Study, examines the use of dashboards in the transportation management center environment. Dashboards display data in a user-friendly format. The project team conducted an outreach exercise to determine the current state of the practice for use of dashboards and summarized the results. Different end users have different data needs, and developers of successful dashboards customize them for those needs. This report presents a process for planning and developing a successful dashboard, including the data needs and analysis process.
