Abstract:

The primary objective of this project was to demonstrate the feasibility of constructing a bituminous pavement by the hot recycling process. Secondary to that was the evaluation of the construction procedure and the finished pavement. The purpose of this improvement was to restore the outside bituminous surfaced shoulders to a like-new condition.
