Abstract:

This report documents the first Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design development study of an initial group of en route air traffic control (ATC) services designed for transmission by Data Link technologies using the Initial Sector Suite System (ISSS) as an air traffic controller interface. The research was conducted by the FAA Technical Center, Airborne Collision Avoidance and Data Systems Branch, ACD-320.
