Abstract:

This report details the results of Mini Study 1. This mini study was conducted at the Federal Aviation (FAA) Technical Center utilizing the Data Link testbed. Initial Data Link air traffic control services were under part task simulation conditions in order to identify service delivery methods which optimize acceptance, performance, and workload. This report delineates the results for the first of two mini studies research and development operational evaluation which comprise the Phase I Data Link services.
