Abstract:This report highlights the experiences, successes, challenges, and lessons learned of two national peer agencies (Capital Metro and Valley Metro) and four local peer agencies (Broward County Transit, Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority [LYNX], Jacksonville Transportation Authority, and Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) on implementing enhanced transit in regions that previously did not have it. The peer exchange was held for the benefit of the Palm Beach TPA and its transit partner, Palm Tran. This event was sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Transportation Planning Capacity Building (TPCB) Peer Program, and was jointly funded by FHWA and FTA.
