Abstract:

This design pamphlet details the procedures to backcalculate pavement layer moduli in support of the 1993 American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Guide for the Design of Pavement Structures. The recommended procedure presented in this pamphlet was based on a combination of ASTM D5858 and the procedure developed as a product from the Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program of the Strategic Highway Research Program.
