This Annual Report provides an overview of the Intelligent Vehicle Initiative’s (IVI’s) progress and accomplishments during 2002. The 1998 Transportation Efficiency Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21) authorized IVI as part of the Department of Transportation’s (DOT’s) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) program.
