This report summarizes results of the St. Louis Region Small
;
Sample Travel Survey. A total of 1,446 households participated in the
;
survey, which was designed to collect travel characteristics data from
;
residents of the St. Louis metropolitan region. The survey updates
;
the 1965-66 Origin-Destination home-interview data.
;
The primary use of the data will be to calibrate the East?West
;
Gateway Coordinating Council?s travel demand model, with applications
;
in trip generation and trip distribution. This travel survey data
;
will ultimately aid the Council in their preparation of transportation
;
planning studies.
