Abstract:Partners in motion is a program aimed at improving the quality, quantity, and availability of travel information to transportation agencies, the media, and, ultimately, to the traveler in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. The program was initiated with a "quick-start" in July 1997 and has been running in "full-service-dissemination" mode since 1998. The program is envisioned to continue developing as a regional traveler information system that provides information via mediums such as television, telephone, and internet web sites. This report evaluates partners in motion in terms of guaranteeing customer satisfaction, which was one of the goals identified by the group as being important to consider.
