ROSA P serves as an archival repository of USDOT-published products including scientific findings, journal articles, guidelines, recommendations, or other information authored or co-authored by USDOT or funded partners.
As a repository, ROSA P retains documents in their original published format to ensure public access to scientific information.
Geographic display of Census data in transportation planning and policy decisions are compiled in a report of 49 maps, depicting use of the data in applications such as travel demand model development and model validation, population forecasting, corridor analysis, and transit route planning. The report has compiled maps from many different types of agencies. The maps were compiled from Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), State Departments of Transportation (DOTs), transit agencies, and others.
