Abstract:

This final summary report is comprised of an Initial Construction Report; a Final Report; and two Interim Reports. These reports document the construction of Louisiana's Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Restoration project and its performance during the three-year period following construction. This project primarily consisted of a field demonstration and seminar utilized to avail the local highway community the opportunity to become familiar with the application and suitability of selected CPR techniques. The hoped-for satisfactory performance of many of the technique utilized was somewhat inhibited due to materials and construction problems. Recommendations for selective continued used and further refinement of the CPR techniques are made.
