Abstract:

This report summarizes discussions at the Eno Foundation's Board of Consultants conference on April 28, 1970. Actions, problems and solutions were presented for three major topic areas: legislative trends for highways, airports and transit; environmental design and the design team concept; and improving public information, especially increasing the public's awareness and understanding of transportation needs and projects. The role of the Eno Foundation in reaching stakeholder groups in urban areas also was discussed.
