This project was conducted during the period 1997 to 1999 to determine the most promising uses of new technology for delivering transit passenger information. The project was based on the premise that in order for transit to be more competetive with the automobile, transit passengers and ptotential transit passengers must have access to transit information and accessibility that approaches the level of information and access offered by the private automobile.
